We have had lots of fun together making some christmas crafts with our families, really getting into the christmas spirit. It was lovely to see so many of our grown ups staying to enjoy making some crafts with us.
In reception, we encourage the children to think creatively and come up with their own ideas! For our christmas workshop we provided a range of resources and let the children and adult’s imaginations run wild. The results were so imaginative, and creative. Miss Boyd, Miss Deacon and Miss Hukin were very impressed. Most importantly the children loved having their grown ups spend time with them in school!
Everyone had a lovely morning. All of the staff would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came!
We were all very excited when we came into school on Friday and remembered it was our Christmas Workshop and our families were able to stay with us to make different Christmas crafts.
We decided to run it a little differently in FS2 this year. When we work with the children we expect them to think about what they want to make and then have a go at making it themselves. We gave this message to parents and carers along with some ideas of what they might want to have a go at making.
The children and the parents and carers came up with some amazing creations.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who was able to stay. We hope you enjoyed it 🙂
We had a wonderful time on Friday morning when our parents and carers came in for Christmas Workshop. It was great to see so many of you there joining in with the children as they made their Christmas crafts. Some of the children from Garnet class came to say hi as well and we got to go and have a look around Garnet class.
Can you remember the different activities you got to try?
Christmas Pudding biscuits
Decorate a bauble
Making Reindeer Food
Making paper chains
Colouring a Christmas Picture
Making a Christmas Tree ornament
We’d love to see some photos of your decorations around your house. Please send them to us on the class email address.
We’d also love to see if you’ve made anything else at home. Look at this great creation which was made at home and brought into school. The children even went to show Mr Siezckarek.
A huge thank you to everyone who came and made the event such as success 🙂
It was fabulous to see so many parents and carers come to support our Easter Workshop with the children. We had so much fun making different crafts and doing different activities. Can you remember what you made? I think the pom pom chicks were my favourite.
We all had a wonderful time at the Christmas Workshop on Friday. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers attend again. Thank you to all those who came. The children love having you in school 🙂 We hope you had a good time.
